The second term of President Donald Trump has unfolded with unprecedented momentum and boldness. The pace of executive action and legislative accomplishment rivals any administration in modern U.S. history. From lowering fuel and food prices to reshaping foreign relations, the current administration has proven relentless in pursuing its goals.
The growing backlash against Albertsons reflects a larger political movement, one gaining momentum through policy proposals and campaign rhetoric. The Trump administration made a clear push to eliminate DEI mandates within federal agencies and has publicly encouraged private companies to “walk away from these political agendas.”
The news has been met with celebration among pro-life supporters, who view the development as the culmination of decades of advocacy, political effort, and grassroots mobilization. For them, each shuttered clinic represents lives potentially saved, taxpayer dollars redirected toward alternatives, and a cultural shift away from the normalization of abortion.
White privilege didn’t help anyone. Yes, it hurt black people much more than whites, but it hurt whites too. In fact, as I’ll show, it actually hurt everyone. Its supposed “gains” were poisoned. The system that promised privilege also planted deep, deep rot. For everything the elite whites temporarily gained, the other whites, immigrants, and the rest of the population lost. The nation as a whole lost.

President Trump has long positioned himself as a critic of higher education institutions that, in his view, prioritize political agendas over academic excellence and fairness. The Columbia University settlement underscores his administration’s pivot toward holding colleges accountable for what it calls misuse of taxpayer dollars and civil rights violations.
