Injustice Anywhere Breeds Injustice Everywhere

The historical attempts to eradicate Black lives, combined with the devastating loss of over 25 million Black lives through abortion, fuels an unwavering commitment to both Black life and justice for all.

Our movement poses a critical question: Are you with us in this fight?

Introduction

Deeply rooted in humanity is a sense of fair play. This powerful instinct fuels protests against perceived injustices, even if it disrupts order and occasionally leads to violence or law-breaking.

However, the core motivation behind these protests – the pursuit of justice – is an essential human right.

This fundamental need for fairness compels communities to confront what they believe are wrongs, sparking impactful social movements that can reshape societal norms and policies, even amidst potential unrest and conflict.

Leading Force for Racial Justice

Racial justice is a core mission for Every Black Lives Matter, and we see ourselves as a driving force in achieving it.

But wanting justice and acting are different. Many groups fight for justice in general terms, like social justice or human rights organizations.

Every Black Life Matters sets itself apart by focusing on specific actions that directly tackle racial inequalities.

Through community programs, policy changes, and supporting victims of discrimination, Every Black Life Matters aims to make a real difference in the fight for racial equality.

Comprehensive Definition of Justice

Every Black Life Matters emphasizes the need to define what “justice” truly entails. We believe that justice, at its core, signifies allowing all individuals to coexist without prejudice or bias.

This definition includes the fair treatment of all people, regardless of their race, gender, or socioeconomic status. While acknowledging the potential for further elaboration on this definition, Every Black Life

Matters emphasizes that justice fundamentally boils down to this principle. By promoting equal opportunities and advocating for systemic changes, our organization seeks to create a society where everyone can thrive without facing discrimination.

Injustice Anywhere Breeds Injustice Everywhere

Dr. King’s powerful words ring true: injustice anywhere breeds injustice everywhere. It’s a stark reminder that our society is interconnected. Ignoring one injustice allows others to fester.

Turning a blind eye creates a dangerous downward spiral, where accepting smaller wrongs becomes easier the longer we ignore bigger ones.

To achieve a truly just society for all, we must confront all forms of injustice head-on.

Impact of Abortion on the Black Community

Our main highlight is the disproportionate impact of abortion on the Black community, viewing it as a blatant act of racist aggression.

The historical context of this issue is significant, as it ties back to the eugenic ideals of figures like Margaret Sanger.

They point to Planned Parenthood’s distancing from Margaret Sanger, whose racist and eugenic ideals fueled the organization’s targeting of Black communities, as evidence of this historical injustice.

This perspective argues that the high rates of abortion in Black communities are not merely a result of personal choice but are influenced by systemic factors designed to limit the growth of these communities.

Complicity Contradicts the Fight for Justice

Numerous organizations focused on social, racial, and human rights have remained conspicuously quiet on the topic of abortion.

This silence is interpreted by some as a betrayal of their broader mission for justice, aligning with Dr. King’s assertion that injustice in one area affects all others.

The absence of strong opposition to practices that disproportionately impact Black communities is seen as a lack of commitment to justice.

By not addressing these issues head-on, these organizations may damage their credibility and weaken their overall advocacy efforts.

Advocacy for Comprehensive Justice

As Every Black Life Matter, we stand out due to our comprehensive understanding of justice, which values all human life from conception to natural death.

We believe that protecting all life is essential for true racial justice. Unlike other organizations, we focus on the value of all life and how it creates a broader approach to justice that encompasses protecting the most vulnerable.

This advocacy extends to various areas like healthcare, education, and economic opportunities, aiming to ensure a dignified life for all.

Rejection of Divisive Movements

Standing for impartiality, this organization rejects movements that exploit racial divisions, such as “White Fragility” and the “1619 Project,” believing these movements perpetuate injustice by promoting animosity between races based on skin color.

Instead of focusing on division, the focus is on unity and collaboration to bridge divides between communities and foster understanding.

This approach encourages constructive dialogue and collective action to address systemic issues without worsening existing tensions.

Conclusion

The historical attempts to eradicate Black lives, combined with the devastating loss of over 25 million Black lives through abortion, fuels an unwavering commitment to both Black life and justice for all.

Our movement poses a critical question: Are you with us in this fight?

This call to action invites individuals and organizations to join in advocating for comprehensive justice and working towards a society where every life is valued and protected.

By standing together, a more just and equitable world can be created for everyone.
