For too long, traditional civil rights organizations such as the NAACP and Urban League have monopolized advocacy for Black communities. While their historic contributions are undeniable, their modern priorities have largely aligned with political agendas that often overlook core issues plaguing our families and communities. The Institute for Family and Community Advancement rises as a bold, values-driven alternative—one rooted in family resilience, educational freedom, economic self-reliance, and justice reform.

Every Black Life Matters firmly believes that transparency in government communication is essential to a healthy democracy. However, EBLM also recognizes the significant risks associated with the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act, especially when applied without rigorous safeguards.

One of the biggest threats to election integrity today is the push to allow non-citizens to participate in our elections. Voting is not just a simple act; it’s a sacred right and responsibility central to the social contract of citizenship. Only citizens, bound by U.S. laws and accountable to them, should wield the right to vote.

Our organization, Every Black Life Matters, calls upon individuals and leaders alike to join our mission.
We not only advocate for the amendment of laws that unfairly affect Black Americans but also for the restoration of families and communities torn apart by unjust imprisonment.
The journey towards reform is intricate and demanding, yet undeniably essential in shaping a society that genuinely respects every Black life.

Neil’s call to action is clear: we cannot afford to be silent or give up. We need to get involved in the political process, support candidates who share our values, and even consider running for office ourselves. It’s about reclaiming the spaces where decisions are made and ensuring our voices help shape a just and moral society.

The trajectory of American culture (including the church) indicates that many feel justified in being righteously indignant, bitter, and perpetually aggrieved, with no conviction about the necessity and command for forgiveness. Many do not realize that irrespective of any “good” acts or deeds they do, embracing unforgiveness disqualifies God’s forgiveness!
