Every Black Life Matters firmly believes that transparency in government communication is essential to a healthy democracy. However, EBLM also recognizes the significant risks associated with the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act, especially when applied without rigorous safeguards.
For too long, traditional civil rights organizations such as the NAACP and Urban League have monopolized advocacy for Black communities. While their historic contributions are undeniable, their modern priorities have largely aligned with political agendas that often overlook core issues plaguing our families and communities. The Institute for Family and Community Advancement rises as a bold, values-driven alternative—one rooted in family resilience, educational freedom, economic self-reliance, and justice reform.
